Easycap: Probably the worst capture card out there! Fit for it's price

So about 3 weeks ago i bought the easycap capture card because i have seen videos of it working and it looks pretty much OK. However, when i tried it and followed loads of tutorials on how to get it setup, how to get video in ulead studio etc. I did not get any video, i tried with composite AND s video - both didn't work. The closest i got to video was with wmv with composite and the quality was appalling! I wanted to record my PS3 gameplay. I already had a DVD recorder but I wanted something smaller with better quality. I got something smaller, yes but better quality? No. I was using gold-plated composite and s video cable so it should have been good. There was absolutely no problem with the cable as i have tried both composite ends and s video ends onto my tv without using ulead studio. It could have been the software. It could of been easycap's hatred towards windows 7. Unless you can help me out within the next few days i will be selling it back to cash converters and use just my DVD recorder.So, thanks a lot easycap! Thanks for wasting my time. And money.
